Easy Air Fryer Chicken Panini

Panini, also known as Panino, is a form of sandwich made with grilling or toasting Italian bread. This can be made using ciabatta, baguette or panini breads which are now easily available at super markets.

This recipe for Air Fryer Chicken Panini calls for some frozen salt and chilli chicken which were kindly sent to me by Diggers Foods UK. I’ve air fried these chicken fingers, grabbed a handful of ingredients and sauces available at home and prepped up this delicious Panini for my Sunday Brunch.

The best part about this recipe is you can add anything and everything you like, more the merrier!! There are no measurements for any ingredients, one can add veggies and sauces of their choice and this Air Fryer Chicken Panini is ready in less than 15 minutes.

  • Panini bread
  • Frozen chicken fingers

Ingredients for the Filling

  • Handful of salad leaves
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • Canned sweetcorn
  • Sliced onion
  • Garlic mayonnaise
  • Honey mustard sauce
  • Harissa chilli dressing
  • Butter
  • Grated cheese

Method

  • Air Fry the chicken fingers in a pre-heated air fryer at 180°C (356°F) for 10 minutes.
  • Carefully slice your panini bread to add the filling ensuring the opposite end is not cut through.
  • Layer it with cheese slices, salad leaves, sweet corn, air fried chicken fingers, sliced onion, mayo, honey mustard sauce and Harissa dressing.
  • Grill this in a grilled sandwich maker for 5 minutes.
  • Air Fryer Chicken Panini is ready!! Brush it with butter and add some grated cheese. Serve hot with some chips or chicken fingers and enjoy!!
