Air Fryer Hasselback Potatoes are thinly sliced into fan like shaped baby potatoes, sprinkled with simple seasonings, air fried till golden and crispy.
Perfectly crispy and golden on the outside, these Air Fryer Hasselback Potatoes are roasted with the skin on and turn out to be super crispy. Since this recipe calls for baby potatoes, and all you need is 5 ingredients that are easily available in almost all homes, these hasselback potatoes are ready in half the time needed.

Nutritional Information per serving (200 grams)
Ingredients
250 grams baby potatoes
1 tablespoon salted butter (melted)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon aromat
1/2 teaspoon cajun seasoning
Salt as required (I’ve not added as butter and aromat had enough salt)
Chopped chives or greens for garnish

Method
Wash the potatoes, clean and pat it dry. Make thin and even cuts but not all the way through. You can simply place skewers on the sides which will guide you not to cut through completely.
Preheat the air-fryer at 180°C (356°F).
Add in all the above ingredients except the greens, in a mixing bowl and toss the potatoes till they are coated well.
Line your air fryer basket with a baking sheet.
Pop the potatoes into the basket, in an even layer. Do not over crowd the basket.
Air Fry for 20 minutes at 180°C ( 356°F). I suggest to check after 15 minutes, if they look done, remove them.
When done, garnish with some greens and serve hot with any sauce or dip of your choice!!

I have used baby potatoes, however you can use any that you prefer. If you’re using bigger potatoes, the air frying time may differ and you may need to cook them longer.

It is advisable to pierce potatoes before air frying or baking as not only does it help release the hot steam, but it also soaks the flavors from the marinate.
What seasonings or toppings can I add for air fryer hasselback potatoes?
You can use seasonings and herbs of your choice. For toppings, you can top it with cheese, panko crumbs, dill leaves, jalapenos or even salsa
Is Air Fryer Hasselback Potatoes a Vegan recipe?
To make this recipe vegan, simply replace melted butter with some olive oil or cooking oil.
