What is Chia Pudding?
Pudding for me has always been something milky, rich and creamy till I realized how innovative one could get and make a healthier version too
I’ve always had puddings of various flavours made of custard powder dissolved and mixed with milk, boiled till it thickens and further chilled till it sets well. My favourite one has always been butter scotch.
Lately, I’d stocked up various flavours of Greek Yogurt and got my hands on some berries, mixed up these well together with some chia and voila, I had a yummilicious Very Berry Chia Pudding ready with the same creamy rich texture and a healthier one of course. It’s not gooey or custard-y like the one I’ve been eating, but, it’s definitely more creamier!!
With just 4 ingredients, I got myself treated with this delicious Very Berry Chia Pudding which is an instant and super easy pudding with basic ingredients that would be available in your kitchen.
Chia Pudding Recipe
- 1 cup blue berry Greek yogurt
- 1 cup honey Greek yogurt
- 1 cup soaked chia leaving one tbsp aside
- 8 – 10 raspberries
- Almond flakes and mint for garnish
- Honey to drizzle (optional)
Divide the soaked chia in equal portions in blue berry and honey yogurt.
In a glass or a bowl add blue berry yogurt till half glass is full. Chill it for 10 minutes till it’s set.
Meanwhile, chop the raspberries and add it to the honey Greek yogurt and mix well.
Remove the glass from the fridge and add 1tbsp soaked chia we kept aside. We do this so that both the layers don’t mix up.
Now add the second layer of honey Greek yogurt. Chill for another 10 minutes in the freezer.
Remove and garnish with some raspberries, almond flakes, mint leaves and drizzle some honey
Very Berry Chia Pudding is ready!! Serve chilled and Enjoy!!
